In general, you add the suffix -ness to change an adjective (description word) into a noun (person, place, or thing).
An easy example is soft, which describes how something feels. You add "-ness" to it, and you get a state of being soft, or "softness."
So you can make all sorts of examples of this, just by taking an adjective, and adding "-ness" to it. You like the adjective "vindictive"? Talk about "vindictiveness." You like "gregarious"? Try "gregariousness."
Just make sure to check in the dictionary before turning it in in order to make sure it's a real word, since not all adjectives turns into nouns in this way (for example, the noun form of "perfect" isn't "perfectness," but "perfection").
