It depends on what and how you store it.

-Pictures
Say, JPEG but with what resolution?
It depends on the size of each picture.
But for a clue, you can store up to about
5000 pictures with about width/height between 500-800.

-Videos
It depends on how large the videos are.
If you directly copy a VCD to the 1GB storage then you could have one full movie.
But if your movies are MP4 format then you could put tens of movies in it.

These are just a general estimation.
The actual estimation of the size depend on the file types and quality.
Hope it helps somehow.

A song on an average takes about 2.5 MB memory space in mp4 formatand about 5 MB in mp3 format. Now you can calculate yourself the capacity of your player.

It depends on the file size. for example, a image is about 100K, a mp3 is about 5M and a MP4 maybe 100M. A 1G capability means 1024 (M) or 1024 * 1024 (K). so you can calculate how many files the player hold.
The formulas are:
images = 1G (1024 *1024)/100 = 10240
mp3s = 1G (1024)/5 = 200
mp4 = 1G(1024)/100 = 10

THIS IS DEPEND UPON YOUR SONGS AND VIDEO DENSITY/JUST CALCULATE THESE IN MB(MEGABYTE MB)WITH PROPERTIES OF SONG AND VIDEO, AND DIVIDE THIS WITH 1024MB YOU WILL GET NUMBER OF SONS AND VIDEO TO FIT IN YOUR MP 4 PLAYER
