I guess you have written it in dd/mm/year format so, taking that into consideration, he is a Capricorn. I would go with Aadi or Aadiv meaning "beginning" to mark the new beginning of the year and suppose he moves to US later in his life, it is easy to pronounce.. just a suggestion.
