to turn a percentage into a decimal move the decimal point two digits to the left. i.e: 8% = 0.08
to turn it into a fraction just put the number over hundred and simplify if possible. i.e.: 8%=8/100=2/25
good luck!

100% = 1 =1/1

So in percentages there are 100 parts to = 1

So 8% = 8/100, reduce to 2/25
To reduce you divide the top and bottom of the fraction by a number that will reduce it evenly to its lowest common denominator. If you divide it and can divide it again do so until you can't do it anymore.

So you put the percentage over 100 and reduce the fraction.

Decimal: Divide top number by bottom (2 divided by 25) and get .08

% to decimal is really, really easy. . .

100 % = 1 = all of a thing
99% = .99 = that part of a thing
90% = .90
75% = .75
8% = .08
5% = .05 See the pattern

Hope that helps.
Here's another 8.8%
You know now that 8% is .08
so 8.8% = .088 (for a fraction you would put that over 1000 because there is one more place)
Don't fight math, just learn the rules because you have to. Math is taught by doing so you get lots of homework. Do it. It will pay off in the long run. Please trust me on that one. The ability to do math shows more than your ability to do it. It shows that you have the fortitude to memorize the rules, do the homework, and will eventually proclaim you to be a problem solver. Hang in there.

1. Percent to decimal: move decimal point two places to the left. Example 25% = 0.25 150% = 1.50

2. Percent to fraction: put percent over 100 and reduce fraction to simplest terms.
Example 25% = 25/100 = 1/4 150% = 150/100 = 1 1/2
