I wouldn't worry to much I had the same feeling when I was pregnant and both of my kids are alright. there are a few things it could be, one is that it could be your muscles getting ready it can actually feel like the baby is moving when you have false contractions, it could be the baby just letting you know that he's not happy with the decreasing space or he could be practicing for the real world where they can shiver, if your really worried about it talk to your doctor there is never a stupid question you can ask a doctor when it concerns your baby. Good Luck

I was pregnant 3 times and all my babys got the hiccups and moved alot but never did they shake as you call it. It might be something you want to tell the doctor it could be having some kind of seizure and if I were you I would want to know right now. It would put my mind at ease and if it wasn't anything then your baby was just trying to drive you nuts like it will after it gets here..LOL
Good Luck with your findings.

I had the same experience with my little girl it seriously felt as she was putting her hands against my belly and shaking it like saying "let me out of here", I felt it more when I was in a seating position, maybe they get squish or something, at his stage the baby is a lot bigger and she\he can manage more gymnastics, they also start changing position a lot (head down) and that is a big trick that requires a lot of twisting and turning . For your peace of mind you should mention it to the Dr next visit. But I if you just wanted to hear from somebody I say don't worry too much, my little girl came as active as she was in my belly and they are so much fun congrats!

I had the same thing happen to me during my last pregnancy, and it scared the crap out of me, because my sons biological father is epileptic. I talked to my doctor about it, and she didn't seem to concerned. She decided to ultrasound me (they were happening in her office), and we laughed when we saw what it was. I had a large bag of water (larger than most, they discovered when they broke my water), and it gave him plenty of room to move around. Well, my son decided to become an acrobat, and he was doing flips/somersaults in utero, and the "shaking" that I felt were actually waves of the water.... they're perfectly normal, but if concerned, she should talk to her doctor.

probably is hiccups, when my son was born he had them,my husband ran to get the nurse as the baby was shaking so violently,he thought for sure something was desperately wrong with him,now we can laugh about it.
enjoy your new baby!

I have no idea. I was going to suggest hiccups but you mentioned that already. If you're concerned, consult the dr.
Good luck and congrats on the upcoming arrival!!

I would call the OB tomorrow and discuss it with his/her nurse. It could be a seizure of some kind. Or he could just be moving around. You can't be too careful when you are pregnant.

This happened to me when I was in my last month of pregnancy as well. I was scared my baby was having a seizure, but she was just fine.
