I cant get any movies to load into my ipod what type of fiel does it need to be anyone know?

it needs to be a .mp4 file
Download Videora, it's a free tool that allows you to convert videos to the right format for the ipod, and i use it all the time

MP4 can only be played on Ipod video or Iphone just buy a converter to convert mpg to mp4

it is indeed mp4. i found this out shortly after getting my iPod video. i downloaded a free converter from Jodix. it's pretty simple to use and seems to work great.

i think its MOV. but you can convert the type by selecting the video you want (on iTunes) and go to advanced and convert to iPod

im pretty sure it has to be mpeg
