Being jealous never solves the problem rather it goes on building frustration and depression. Instead of being jelous one can do good and even better things then the younger ones. One just have to have strong will power to do so and nothing else

Jealous, no. Maybe a little depressed though.
But it all depends on the situation. For instance, my boss's boss is a year younger than me, and he has to be making anywhere from double to triple what I'm making. He's single, attractive, and fit. He's clearly doing well for himself. And it makes me a little sad to think that I went to graduate school, and I'm nowhere near where he is in terms of social status.
On the other hand, I don't think he's very well emotionally adjusted, he likes to waste his money, he commutes three days of the week, his job is crazy annoying, and he's trying to be someone he's not.
I do, however, wish I'd had more sexual experiences. I'm a horny gal, but I've always reserved my self for long-term relationships. It just so happens that both my current and ex-boyfriends didn't have as revved up as sex drives, and neither wanted/wants to experiment as much as I do. Kinda sucks. :(

I look around and I see the people that I went to high school with as nurses, mechanics, legal aids...etc. and I do get a bit jealous, but you see, I have something they don't. I have fun with my life. I am happy. Do you think the nurse wiping the old man's butt is having fun? You think the mechanic who just knocked his head off the bottom of somebody's junker is happy? You think the legal aid is happy with the 3 inch high stack of paperwork on her desk? NO NO NO. They did it for the money. Money is just paper dyed green. It's ****. I have comfort, health and love. Nothing else matters. Those people will have ugly babies, get divorced, and die completely alone in a huge mansion.

Truth: I was jealous of some of my former workmates who went off and completed their Masters degrees when they were young and energetic enough to do that.... but when it came down to my actually doing it myself, when I had the opportunity, I realized that it was not really my vision for myself (all those essays and that bureaucracy, etc.) I now admire them for their efforts, but recognize that I have other experiences and knowledge that is as valid as theirs is.
All the best!

No. Everyone ends up in the same place eventually. It just takes some people more lives to get there than others.

i get angry (which i guess could be jealousy) when i see a really flash car and the numberplate is personalised and says 87 or 86 (as in the year) i was born in 86 and dont have a car like that!!! I guess i'm just smarter than to go into debt for a car.... and i dont have a mummy or daddy that'll buy me one.
if they bought it outright themselves... then yes i'm jealous!

No, I only regret that I waited so long to make something of my life. Sex is not the only thing in the world, it only seems like it to some of the younger generation.

I like what Emma said. We all end up in the same place eventually, and you cant take it with you. the only thing that matters is what you did for the next generation.
