Because there will always be lonely people. Someone can be surrounded by people and still feel lonely. The population doesn't have anything to do with it. It's society and human nature.

I might be what you call 'loney' but I like being loney.
As for the population increasing....people are having 3 or more children per couple. Makes sense ya? ;)

just having people around you makes it no less lonely.
u can be in the middle of a crowd of people, even people u know well, and still be so incredibly lonely.
