As mentioned by others, I'm not sure whether there would be enough applications for it on a typical iPod to merit the same sophisticated touchscreen. That said, I believe that some evolution of the navigation system might be needed, especially if the the 6th gen iPod is fully widescreen to focus on its video capabilities.

No the touch screen works horrible and ipod doesnt play that. =]

It's not easy to install touch pad in small LCD screen.
