Why does it seem women from 3rd world countries are more appeciative then American women?

Women in a America are givin virtually everything yet they still cop attitudes and think they ought to be worshiped. WOmen in 3rd world countries don't have half of what American women get yet they don't cop an attitude at all. Do you think American women are spoiled?

The day when every American woman can compose a short paragraph without making a kazillion spelling errors will be the day that I will agree to the statement that 'American women are spoiled'.

Judging by the current state of affairs, however, that will be the same day that Hell freezes over. Ladies, DON'T LEAVE YOUR EDUCATION BEHIND. What do many Americans lack (male and female alike)? A solid (public school) education and affordable access to higher education. The Europeans and Canadians are in disbelief at the appaulling standards in your country. I mean what I said - you guys like to believe you have everything when in fact you DON'T. The moral of the story is there is more to the person than just the amount of junk they manage to accumulate over a lifetime.

Why of course they are. They have access to fresh water, food, toiletries, clothes, cars, and the list goes on and on and on.
Women and really anyone from 3rd world countries are appreciative of everything because they have so little. Whenever they are given food they are so happy and appreciative because sometimes they don't have food. Here, it doesn't matter because a grocery store is just down the way and you have money to pay for it.
Americans are very spoiled. They get Coach purses for $400 when there are families that don't even have that much to their name.

Actually the word is independence.....which american women have and most other countries don't. It's not an attitude, it's the way we live. Spoiled, yes in some ways. We have food, cars, media, books, we can travel, converse, run around all over the www 24/7. Not all countries are so lucky and not all people know about food, www, travel, books....they know about trying to live day to day, hour to hour...where their next meal is comming from, if they get one. Not hearing the news of your country, it's censored. No books, you might read and have a question that could get you jailed or killed. No walking alone, no talking to the opposite sex, no freedoms of any kind...
It's not attitude. It's freedom...freedom to be who we are, want to be and where we want to go...
I don't know what women you have seen...but only on t.v. have I seen women who want to be worshiped...(but t.v. isn't real life).
I HAVE seen selfishness in women and men...me, me, me or else...that starts in childhood with parents who give children everything. (mostly things they don't need.) Then adults who carry on with it, to keep their mates/friends/family....
So spoiled is a term...but it's not always the correct term for americans...

I have more education and make more money than 99% of American men. I worked hard to get where I am, I wasn't "given" anything. I can cop an attitude with whoever I want.

Illiterate Third World women rely on their husbands, fathers and sons for everything. They have no choice but to be subservient; they want to eat, don't they?

It works like that. When the men were all macho and the economic situation was worse a woman was happy to find a good man who took care of he children threated her wel and earned enough for a stabel good lifel. In return he was threated well by her. Now men at large were raised to be good men and family fathers, so finding a provider who respected women took care of a family was nothing special anymore and women took it for granted, so to find grace in her eyes a man had to do more and more. Now it isnt enough anymore to buy her a house, because every other joe would have done it too, you have to clean it too and keep her happy with credit cards. Women from different cultures however where good earning women respecting family men are hard to come by, see the average providing american man with different eyes, they dont take him for granted, because unlike in America or Europe providing family men do not come cheaper in a dozen there, therefore he isnt just another sucker to her.

How about this: a woman who is from a third world country will be kinder to an American man because she hopes he will take her away from there and bring her to a place where she has rights and things are so much better. So maybe she is pretending to be what he wants so she can get what she wants. Just a thought.

In general, yes.

But it's not just women from third-world countries. In fact, I would hazzard to say that American women, on the average, are the most spoiled group of women here on earth (percentage-wise). The reason they appreciate nothing is because they think they have it coming to them...the TV tells them so. And all the ones that don't get it are downright angry at the world (until feminism steps in and convinces them it's all men's fault). If you killed the TV you'd nix over 50% of the problem. The TV is what constantly tells them what they "deserve" to have. Women are especially susceptable to it, which is why they are targetted. The TV also supports most of the negative aspects of feminism. The TV and feminism are the two most destructive elements in our society today.

The truth is that if women, and the men as well, could bring themselves to turn off the TV, the world would be a much happier place to live. People would learn to appreciate what they have, and value things like relationships more than a Mercedes.

Well it's because woman have more rights here than in other countries.

Women here want it both ways. Eg equal pay, but men pay for dates and finance social life. Be respected for who they are as people and not their bodies, yet use their bodies and promises of sex to manipulate men for money and other goods. They want the right to be open and able to have sex with whoever and not be judged or labeled sluts. Yet if they have sex and regret it they want sympathy, and feel used, and blame the man. If she was drinking and seduced the man, she can still charge him with rape.

While the media portrays women as objects, it portrays men as idiots. Look at sitcoms (everybody loves Raymond, or king of queens for example), or advertisement, many portray men as stupid idiots needing a woman's direction.

Or shows like Oprah, chronologising all the bad things to happen to women, and put all the blame on the man.

Yet very few people stick up for the rights of men. It's not politically correct.

Okay let's play it your way. Let us say for argument sake that I am an American woman, which I am, I have everything I want because I have a nice attitude and inner strength. Do you know how far you can go if you have inner strength?
What I am saying is that I can only have what I give myself. I complain I live a life of misery. I smile I live a life of happiness.
Now I would not like to rain on your parade, but I will. You do not know Middle Eastern woman like you think you do. Over here an American or a European woman is far more appreciative. Most middle Eastern men when they can seek marriage; a lot of them seek it outside, one reason is its cheaper. Let us say, you, for instance want to marry a woman from the Middle East. In most cases you better have a house that is completely furnished and at least $40,000 U.S. dollars or more or she won't touch you with a ten foot pole and if she doesn't want to do any work, you'd better fork out the dough for a maid, because a lot of them do not like to work.
As for submissive, Middle Eastern woman are not submissive, but they do go out of their way to put the men first. I'm not submissive either and I go out of my way to put the men first too.
Submission to me means you got the crap kicked out of you and then you decided to be obedient. Now those Middle Eastern woman and I have that in common. Another thing we have in common that we revere our men. Keep in mind that I am just a plain ole American woman and I am telling you how I go about doing my thing.
Who's spoiled? There is no true answer to that but to say a little of both. One time it may be 35 65 or another it may be 65 35.

Yes in truth compared to your average American woman, the Middle Eastern woman caters to the men more. You will never see a Middle Eastern woman make her husband serve his own guests - you won't see me do it either. You come into my home you just might see me - if my husband wants doing everything for him - he at times helps himself as well as a few other husbands of Middle Eastern woman.
As a general rule a Middle Eastern woman will never refuse her husband sex, unless she has a valid excuse - neither do I.
I also won't put up with crap and neither will a Middle Eastern woman. I demand to be treated with respect and so do they.
