shuffle a deck. look at the bottom card. have someone pick a card, look at it and put it on top of the deck. then have them cut the deck.
Then you pick up the deck and cut it a few more times. Their card is the card after the one you looked at.
Easiest trick in the world and it fools people all the time

I personally am not into that at all-but my neighbor and husband love card tricks and learn a lot of them on metacafe.com When you get to the site just type card trick in the search line and there are tons to go through. Plus you get to see the trick as well.

Shuffle the cards, but sneak a peek at the bottom card. Then spread the deck on the table. Announce that you are going to pick three cards, naming each as you pick them. Pick a card from the middle of the deck, announcing that you are picking the card you peeked at on the bottom. Now announce that you will pick the card you just picked, and select another card from the the middle. Announce that you are now going to pick the card you just picked, and select the bottom card. Show the three cards. You will have picked all three cards you announced, even though you didn't pick them in the same order.

This is the easiest card trick possible. Show your spectator a deck of cards face down and ask him to take one and put it on a table. After he has done this, reform the deck in your hand, turn over the card on the table and say, "This is your card."
