My favorite Reagan speech was "The Shining City Upon A Hill" (January 25, 1974), followed closely by the "Evil Empire" (March 8, 1983) speech.
Although I would be hard pressed to name one single favorite, some of my favorite Reagan quotes, in no particular order, are as follows:
"How do you tell a communist? Well, its someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? Its someone who understands Marx and Lenin"
"Abortion is advocated only by persons who have themselves been born"
"Fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you I just signed legislation which outlaws Russia forever. The bombing begins in five minutes"
"The years ahead will be great ones for our country, for the cause of freedom and the spread of civilization. The West will not contain Communism, it will transcend Communism. We will not bother to denounce it, we'll dismiss it as a sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages are even now being written."

A russian proverb that Reagan always quoted which, according to Reagan, meant, "Trust but verify".
If he was alive, I am sure he would have remarked on Bush's activities with that proverb.
