No, I don't think that would be right. Emotional intimacy should be between wives and their husbands. If it is not there, then the marriage needs work, and confiding in another man is NOT going to help things. When woman does this either online or in person, it forms emotional attachments for her that are 'usually' not appropriate for a married woman.

yes, actually i do. he's called my husband.
there is a thing called emotional affairs. what you wrote there is exactly what it is - talking to someone OTHER THAN YOUR HUSBAND - about your life and secrets. it's okay to say things are great, but when it comes down to it - it should be as surfacy as that. no details should be shared. if there is a problem with your marriage, stfu about it because the only people who should talk about it are the married couple. why would we want to talk to someone else about private things other than our husbands?
on another note, if you are advertising yourself as one of those men, i hope you get plunged in the *** with a knife.

That is a BIG NO! NO! If a person cannot confide in there own spouse then they have a problem, and the answer to your question is NO never.

No, I do confide in my lover though, but outside of him I don't really have a need as I'm really not that social and online relationships are so pointless.

double standards by the women on here. a marraige counsellor once told me that you should live your life "transparently" meaning you should not do anything privately that you wouldn't do in front of your spouse. i say BS. good for you all that you have such wonderfully open lines of communication with your husbands. it ain't the same the other way around sorry to say.
