Upon seeing the finished film, Jerry Lee Lewis didn't like it, he said it made him look stupid. I think he was a little stupid though, and I enjoyed the film. It's no "Walk The Line" but it was good.

A good movie, yes. It lets the audience experience the early years of the life of Jerry Lee Lewis. Randy Quaid plays the bigger-than-life character just as he was, and is. He does an amazing job impersonating "The Killer". The music brings back an era of rock-a-billy music transitioning into rock and roll. Having said that, I have heard those who knew Lewis say that it is a fictionalized version of his life; incidents are written into the film script that never occurred, and many important aspects of his life story are not touched on at all.
So,yes a good biographical movie; an entertaining one; but not a great one. Worth watching for the music, and a good story; but not the whole story. If you want to see better biographical pix of rock-and-roll legends, rent "La Bamba", the life of Ritche Valens, played by Lou Diamond Phillips, or maybe " The Buddy Holly Story", with Gary Busey in his Oscar-nominated role.

It's ok. It's about the life of Jerry Lee Lewis and the scandal of marrying his minor aged cousin. There's a lot of his music, if you like it then you'll enjoy the movie.

its a low low low budget film.
if you are looking for something along the lines of ray you will be thoroughly dissapointed but if you like Jerry Lee Lewis you might enjoy it.
it could have been much much better but there is a lot of music and what not which for fans has to be enjoyable.

Yes I think it was pretty good. Dennis Quaid did a wonderful job playing Jerry Lee.

If you like really good old time rock and roll, rock-a-billy music, it will be a good movie for you.
