You should question everything.
The absolute truth is rarely, if ever, told.

The education system today wants to wipe out half the historical facts, as they were.

If you love history, then I would suggest going to the bookstore (used books) and get the very Olllllllllllllllllddd stuff, or you'll never know the truth. Just like they're trying to remove God's name from money and the pledge of alligence???, they are trying to rewrite history and are going to be changing educational material without parental consent, if that interests you.

A good organization to get some accuracy is the Family Research Council in D.C. Find an old library that carries old school books or a collector or historian that you know.

Any historical report is to be questioned, who is reporting, when was is reported, was it first hand, for example the bombing of Hiroshima could be reported from different perspectives, you can say when the plane left and at what time the bomb was dropped but to know exactly the truth about why it was dropped, you have historians still going through archives in the hope that their hypothesis could be proved. At the end it is nevertheless only another point of view that can be questioned.
