You are wrong in your thinking. There are a very few people who have demonstrated the ability to hear echos (echo location) much like dolphins and bats. Maybe we had it at one time and just lost the ability because we didn't use it. There was just a show on I think 60 minutes or maybe 20/20 about one such young man.....maybe a month or so ago.

Two reasons.

1. We live on land, sonar needs water.

2. We didn't need it so it didn't evolve.
