I pay only for the supplies which generally runs about $50.00 a month. You can also get the automatic cleaner with a drop in canister so you don't have to ad chemicals unless you forget to turn on your pumps. The automatic chlorinate I use is called a "Frogger". You can also get the automated vacuuming which you just hook up, drop in the pool, leave it for a couple of hours and return to a clean pool. Get with the supplier and learn how to clean and sanitize your own pool saves you lots of money. When I started cleaning my own pool, I found I looked forwarded to cleaning it because it relaxed my thoughts and gave me a little exercise in the process. So by doing it yourself, you not only save money but get the benefit of clearing your brain from the day to day hectic activities.

I used to just do it myself. It does not take that long about once a week in the summer. You can get the chlorine and testing and cleaning supplies at any Home improvement store.
