I think you should buy the christian one

i have one like a christian clarinet book, except its for tenor sax

i play many different intruments that all work with that book

if you only play clarinet, get it for that specific intrument

i play the following intruments:

Clarinet
Bass Clarinet
Tenor Sax
Alto Sax
Berry Sax
Piano
Trumpet

They all work really well with the the Christian book

If you want to audition for a church band, then I would probably go with the Christian song book, assuming you already know how to play. If you don't, they might make books for clarinet that teach you how to play using Christian music (I know they do for guitar; not sure on clarinet, though). Keep on practicing, and you'll do fine. You could always play Christian music out of a hymnal if you really wanted to, but hymns are typically in keys that are odd for clarinets to play--I'm a clarinetist too, and I would know. I would go with whichever one you feel would be best, or maybe even both.

Hi. If you can only buy one...maybe you should get the book that will help you most. It sounds like the book to use for you audition is the one most needed. You can always buy the other book at a later time.

Le Miserable sounds like it would be more technically challenging, and would still impress them at the audition. Plus, it would have the bonus of being usable in other scenarios and settings.

You should definitely get Les Miserables, a very good and timeless novel

Christian song book.

More variety and probably easier music to play.

Also will be perfect for your coming audition.

Good luck!!!
