I'm not trying to scare anybody. I would never commit suicide. I consider myself a very happy individual. I am having some relationship issues. It is basically time to take a deuce or get off the pot if you know what I mean. I am so haunted by the decision that I would sometimes rather die than face it. There is so much pressure mounting on me to pop the question. I know there are a lot of bigger problems out there. When I am in an argument with my girlfriend I imagine the most grotesque death scenarios for myself. You don't want details, trust me. I also recently saw my doctor and I have a mole that he is concerned about. I have a biopsy in two days. I have found myself wishing for melanoma. Then I snap out of it and see how terribly wrong it is to think that. I know if it actually comes to fruition I will be so sorry I wished for it. But nevertheless, these things pop into my head. What is wrong with me and how do I fix it? Preferably on my own.

All neurosis is a substitute for legitimate suffering. I had to go crazy on my way to sanity.

I'm so sorry for what you're going through.Did u know that u can become a better person if get off the pot and try work things out with your girlfriend if u keep on argueing and u can't do it anymore break up with her and please don't wish for u to get melanoma cause u will regret at the end.If u are stress out go for a walk somewhere alone and sit and relax breath in and out slowly and pray that things will work out.I understand what you're going through but don't take it too hard on yourself.Hey everyone is not perfect in this world. When I argue with my boyfriend I go to park and sit and look at the kids playing and listen to them laughing and they were cute I feel better afterward.I want u to have a shower and wash away all the bad thinking u been thinking.Breath in breath out slowly I know u can face this and do it for yourself u will feel better afterwards.Even though I dont know u but I'll pray for u.Please promise me u won't wish for melanoma and second please get off the pot.Someday u will thank me u dont have to be on the pot to be cool or perfect just be yourself.Cheer yourself up read other peoples jokes they make me laugh when I'm feeling down, listen to your favourite song and sing and dance to it.

I don't think it's right for a man to hit a woman. I also don't think it's right for a woman to hit a man. Spousal abuse can go both ways, and is inexcusable no matter what. If either sex is being hit, they need to leave and go to a safe place. The abuser then has the option of staying away for good, or going to anger management therapy to get help. I wouldn't put up with being hit by anybody.

I know that there are a number of "professional" answers to this question that will be given. One of my Majors in University was Clinical Psychology.
I have come to realize that most treatments and diagnosis are bias to the professional. For example: An Atheist will give you a different professional opinion rather than a Christian.

From my own conclusive experiences and belief, I have come to understand most Psychological disorders are due to spirital conflictions (and afflictions).

You may dismiss my suggestion, but I shall give it out of care and wanting to help. .... Pray about it. Ask God to help you, and just listen for an answer.
See what happens.

I felt that way for a while and then I started seeing a counselor and was told that I am bi-polar and I got on some medication and I am doing a lot better. I would suggest going to see someone and talk to them. Find yourself a good friend that will not judge you and you will see an improvement.

I have a very good recipe for you to treat your depression; YOUR MIND BODY AND SOUL ARE HUNGRY:
*Get mental therapy/express ur emotions/help will provide you support/positive feedback

*Spirituality/find a philosophy or religion that suits YOUR belief system (ex.Buddhism, Zen, Paganism, Christianity, ect)

*Physical fitness: Find an exercise that you REALLY really like
(ex. jogging, walking several miles, cycling, some type of sport, ect.)

Healthy Eating Habits: a well-balanced diet, fruits, veggies, meats, VITIMANS, lots of spring water

*Hobbies: journalism, photography, painting (anything creative to EXPRESS your inner self. no need to be an "expert", your expression in itself is a 100% more important and part of your healing program as everything above mentioned

*Socialize w/positive supportive, nice people

*Good sleep patterns 8-9 hrs. of rest

If you are feeling this way, definitely DO NOT POP THE QUESTION! Clearly you are having issues when you even think about it. I would suggest you seek some counseling to help you clarify what it is you are so afraid of.
