Germany, Ireland, England, Scotland, Norway, France.
Wouldn't know where to go back to if I were to go to my family's country of origin.
My family has been in the US for 150 to 350 years, so we really have no ties to Europe.

America is my family's "country of origin" - my dad's family came here from Ireland 100 years ago, and my mom's family were brought here from somewhere in West Africa 300+ years ago.
And no, I wouldn't want to go back to either one of those places to live, but I'd sure love to visit.

Mum's side: Philippines
Dad's side: England & Germany
I've been to the Philippines twice, I'd love to visit England and Germany but I do love the set up down under in Australia.

Two countries actually. French Canada and Alsace (French/ German) I would love to visit both. The closest that I have been to Alsace was when I went to school in Vichy. Oh well, I will return. : )

I am a mutt... Grandparents from Russia, Poland & Germany. One day I will go back to all 3, if for nothing else other than to see where my ancestors lived, and to eat my way though those countries!
When I travel abroad, I love experimenting with local cuisine!
