I'm 28. My new year's resolution is to get a boob job. I am scared of any complications that may arise but there are so many people out there with successful boob jobs, no? I don't need real boobs to feel more secure about myself, or to get a guy, I want them for myself so that I can stop stuffing my bra and wear a sexy bikini in the summer.

No! Some guys are more attracted to chicks with smaller chest because of that. Even some expensive boob jobs looks extremely unnatural. There is n reason why you shouldn't wear whatever you want now.
Chest size doesn't matter in the long run and if worse came to worse you could always get the little jelly inserts at some lingerie stores that go right underneath your real boobs for about 8 dollars. I got some for a friend and she says they are extremely comfortable and look very natural.

I used to want to get a boob job too, not for the getting a guy reason or anything like that but more along the reasons you stated. There are successful boob jobs done every day but some aren't so successful..and those are the ones that scare me! And I just found out that you have to get them redone every so often )I think every 5-10 years) and thats pretty scary too. I've just come to terms that I'm flat and I've started to like it. There are certain things that us flat chested girls can do that bigger chested women can't do. You know like not having to wear a bra, etc. But if you think that the boob job would make you feel better about yourself then go for it! Life is all about making yourself happy! My advice would be to just find a reputable plastic surgeon, check out his work and his accreditations and see if you can get recommendations from past clients. Then go for it! After all its your body and you can do what you want. Good luck!

Happy New You 2007. I do not have a boob job but, I have an attractive flat chest which I love it. Now if you are serious I urge you to search for the right doctor and the right hospital. You need to post longer and will see what is Pro or what is Con? You are the one who will make a final decision and I am sure you are ready. Good luck and come back to let Yahoo people know.

You say you don't need them to feel more secure about yourself or to get a guy. Why then do you feel the need to stuff your bra? Is it because it doesn't fit?
I am very small-chested so I understand why you're considering a boob-job, but I think it's more commendable to be happy with the body you have. I used to be very self-conscious about my "flat chest" but now I just accept that this is the way I am, and that in itself relieves any want to change it.
People can also tell when you're comfortable with yourself, that's sexy enough.
In my opinion, no, you shouldn't go for it. There is too much superficial pressure in our society.
Not to mention that you could probably put money to a better use...

Boob Job?! i may say, yes now, but u might regret it later..
u see, doctors may recommend u to get a boob job - but ask, since when they tested this? side effects occur after 10 / 15 / 20 yrs! im sure they havent tested that 10 or 20 yrs ago & they will just do that procedure now.
u are just 28... IMAGINE 10 yrs after:
after ejoying your 10 summers in bikini
u have a happy love life (w/ kids / married / engaged)
BUT suddenly u are sick - the doctor says - its because of your boob job... gotta remove the boob or you're at risk.

No. If you're already "attractive", then getting a boob job would totaly mess up your life. I don't know about this, but according to a lot of people, fake boobs look fake, feel fake, and aren't sexy at all. They only look good when they are covered up completely by a sweater. So do not get a boob job.

Just make sure you research it and are willing to take the risks. I read in a magazine awhile ago that many boob jobs need replacement after just 5 years. If I didn't have the money for that, I wouldn't do it.
Being born with a naturally large chest, I know that it feels too to have a nice chest. If all goes well it might really help you. Ultimately, the choice is yours.

i only know of black guys that like big butts, so i don't think that's your answer......
i'm a guy who loves boobs but when i see a girl with stiff fake boobs, it's a huge turn-off....but then a lot of guys seem to love them.
maybe the 'under the muscle' type surgery is better, then the boobs themselves are still soft and squishy
gotta love the squishy!!

If you want to, Just to boost yourself esteem then go ahead. You know the consequences of Boob jobs. .But i don't think you should do it because boobs aren't all they're cracked up to be. Just love yourself for who you are. God blessed you with a body and your healthy too. Be thankful! But Do you<(Do your thing) ma-ma.
