It is pretty frosty, isn't it? People's values and morals over the last 20 years have deteriorated. People don't do unto others as they would like others to treat them. People aren't as respectful of other people and don't care about common courtesies and basic human decency as they go about their busy lives. It's all about me, me, me. As long as it doesn't have a negative effect on me or my life, I don't care about the other guy. People lack compassion and empathy for their fellow man. They are in large part, egotistical, self-centered, controlling, and power mad.
In the Bible it says, "Blessed are the meek and timid for they shall inherit the earth." God loves you and blesses you. Keep your chin up and don't let negativity from others kill your spirit.

its not the world that is cold its idea's. Some people have a hard time thinking of anything except why me? Some people love to say :what's in it for me? Very few people treat other as they would like to be treated. This should answer the question.

No?? why are people so aloof??Mean spirited, busy with their own lives. They can be but realy the best thing to do is just make friends to small groups of people. The world as a whole can be hard but the individuals in it are ok and even kind,

because ppl who have issues are fakes...they fake their perfect warm life just to ruin someone's real warm life. some ppl have so much sin that they do make this world cold...it is called hate....it is called the devil.... it is sooooo sad but hey the real true person is the person who ignores the cold ppl and enjoy life knowing that you have not let a cold person make your world cold and ruin your life.

the world is cold because many are self centered, and many are just too busy to take the time to be kind to someone---I suggest you find a small part of the world and begin making it a warmer place---in time this warmth will return to you.

I believe Al Gore is insisting the globe is warming? If you are referring to human cruelty I blame crazy muslim extremists on the other side of the world who get sudden hits of crazy religion. And blow themselves and others to bits.....
