I mean, when they make concept cars to be shown at auto shows, do they really make it on a production line just as they would any other car, putting the real stuff inside of it

No, they are made in separate factories, they may have some of the "regular" equipment, but they are usually hand made. If they go into production, then they are made on the assembly line.

It is not made in a production line because there would only be one of them. Concept cars are usualy made in a auto shop owned by the company in which is produing it. They do have all the interior though, it has all the seats and all the things it would have if it were to be out on the market.
