No, although this is a man in training club they also are supposed to be non discriminatory to people that have difference of opinions, religions its not in the Constitution to ban gay or lesbians so they can not refuse any members due to sexual preference

Believe it or not there have been cases of homosexual BOYS and Boy Scout Masters. I would never venture to say that a pedophile would be attracted to a job, even a volunteer one, that gives them a certain amount of freedom with children. But, it is a volunteer private organization. They can do exactly as they please. I hope they screen their volunteers well.

I agree with Clancy and Gwen. The Boy Scouts are a private group, not a government entity, or a company that pays money, so they can make up their own rules.

Of course. Why wouldn't they? Would you want your son to attend scout meetings with a homosexual scoutmaster?
Why do you think homosexuals want to get involved with the Boy Scouts?

No, because the boy scouts is a training program for all boys regardless who has this boy's interest. In the program it is for all boys to participate as one just like to military. For all as one! I hope that this helps answer your question.

If they're a private organization they should have the right to exclude whoever they want. They just better not take any of my tax dollars while they do it...

Nope, boyscouts are supposed to be about togetherness and friendship right?? You cant exclude someone bc of their sexual preferance. Although I'd suggest not bunking with the boy who likes other boys.
But boyscouts are young, they shouldnt even be thinking about sex at all at that age. tsk tsk...
