You have a TON of time to figure all this out. Schools like the ones you are thinking about are pretty prestigious, but remember grades are just a part of what they look at. Universities are looking for well rounded people, not just a bookworm. So if you volunteer and stick with your grades you should be fine. Make sure you visit the campus's too, because you do not want to be stuck in a place where you will not enjoy college. And remember to have fun, high school is the best days of your life.

Honestly, those grades will not get you into Johns Hopkins or Washington University, St. Louis. I don't really know anything about the other two, but almost everybody who applies to Johns Hopkins and Wash U will have at least a 4.0 when it's weighted. You'll need to be at the top of your class and have outstanding recommendations, SAT/ACT scores, show leadership, etc.

It's great to set high goals like this, but keep in mind that these schools are VERY tough to get into, even for students with straight A's throughout high school. Seriously, college counselors refer to Wash U as "Wait-list University."

So if you feel like putting the work into bringing your grades up (sounds crazy if you've already got a 4.0, I know), then go for it, but brilliant kids get denied from the schools you've listed.

Most colleges only look at junior and senior year grades, though the first two years do factor into your GPA. Keep doing what you're doing and you'll be just fine. Don't worry about med school too much now, many undergraduate colleges will be able to prep you well as long as you work your butt off to keep your grades up in college. Just worry about where you want to go to undergrad first!

And, just as a heads up, UCSF is only a graduate school. If you're looking for a GREAT UC for your undergrad in the bay area, try UC Berkeley. There are a lot of other private colleges there too that are also impressive, like Stanford or Santa Clara.

you may pay attention because you're accurate, it really is unusual. because even as he turned right into a junior in extreme college you've been in seventh grade. it truly is extremely weird and wonderful and he's probable searching for an hassle-free human being to get with. now problematic, like a tramp yet hassle-free as in you're youthful and naive and he's conventional with this. there's a distinction between a freshman in college and a freshman in extreme college, i comprehend, because i have been both. Tread gently in this and do not take the courting heavily, because it truly is probable no longer for him.

Most colleges don't look at your freshman year. but yeah if you can keep your grades like that you'll be fine and one C isn't that bad and AP classes won't really matter to them especially if you get bad grades in those classes. But i think you're ok. I didn't take a single AP class and i got into a university. Don't stress about it.

Sweetheart, you're not going to get an accurate answer on here. Your best bet is to email the recruiters for each school and post your questions to them. They will give you information you need to know and will also send you paperwork that will assist you in staying on the right track.

Good Luck and Keep Up the Good Work!

Most colleges don't look at your freshman grades, but it still helps to do well.
