The original OSX disk that came with your computer has everything on it. That same disk is used to recover your computer in the event that something goes wrong. Just install that disk into your iBook and it will give you instructions on how to re-format the entire computer. If you lost that disk, check your local Apple store. You can make an appointment and have a specialist (or as they call it "Genius) help you for free. They're very helpful and polite. I recommend checking in with them if you have any questions because when I had a problem with my MacBook, they fixed it right away.

I deleted Garageband from my PowerBookG4 and reinstalled it from the Install DVDs that originally came with my Mac.

If you have the Install disks for your iBook, just insert and do a custom install of iDVD then run your software update to update iDVD to the latest.

If you don't have the Install Disks then you will need to purchase a copy of iLife to install iDVD.
