acceleration is the rate of change of velocity in the certain point in time. so it is velocity over time. in your case acceleration will be 11.1/9 = 1.233333333 m/s2

Vf=at+vi
11.1m/s=a(9s)
a=1.23m/s^2

Vf^2=2ad+vi^2
(11.1m/s)^2=2(1.23m/s^2)d
123.21m^2/s^2=(2.46m/s^2)d
d=50.1m
