Ok...In June i Will be performing in the USA World Showcase for singing.I will duet with my neise(who is my best friends lyk a sis)see it will be on national telivision!We will be competing people from around the world in different categories!We already past the application part & we nailed the audition!We were excepted...but...I bet your wondering what the problem is!?...It's just We can't pay the whole entry fee!Have any ideas about how to get the money!!!???
Please no negative things...like selling your body or "just screw it like you will win!"

first off congrats!!!!!! well Im not sure how much you need to raise...but can you do some odd jobs for people, like babysitting, dog walking, mowing lawns, stuff like that and raise money that way? or depending on how much it is see if you and her can ask your parents or family members if you guys raise half the money if they can match you (equalling the other half)

If you have a good act and are well known in your local community, go from one merchant to another and ask them to sponsor you completely or in part. If you get sponsorship, make sure it is announced in your local newspaper, or elsewhere that you were sponsored by these merchants. Anyone who is even entered into something such as the USA World Showcase instantly becomes somewhat of a local celebrity. Sponsorship is good advertising for the sponsors.

Try looking to your community for fund raising help, radio, tv newspapers, schools, churches the list goes on. How old are you guys? Maybe your family and relatives can help. I think your best bet is to get your story to the local media, the LOVE local success stories like yours, and would probably jump on board with fund raising help. Good luck to you guys! Besides the obvious "get a few jobs" answer, solicit your local newspaper and government officials. Every year, local branches of government such as your state Assembly and Senate are delegated certain amounts of money (if you live in the US) to give to constituents (people who live in their district). Write them a leter and explain your situation. Also, get the press involved. Call the press office of your local newspaper and radio stations and get your name out there. If local businesses can see you as an advertising asset, they might support a portion of your trip to the contest.

Solicit some area businesses for sponsorships, or send a blast email to friends and family and see if they will chip in to help you out. Hopefully they will have some confidence in your talents.

well, you can sell your things, like mp3s, or try to make pies, and delicious food and sell it to your neighborhoods, or just talk to your parents, or make some half-time jobs
