A great white shark never sleeps. If it did it would sink and not be able to pass water over its gills and suffocate.

I don't believe it's possible for any earthly creature to survive without sleeping. It's almost impossible for anything to survive without sleeping. After all, sleeping is the only way that anybody can regain their energy. The body also needs to rest from working hard to gather food and such.

I was doing a tour at a zoo once and Giraffes only sleep for something like 10minutes in a day! Crazy!!
