I would definitely recommend getting a Masters degree. It opens a lot of doors, especially if you are looking to get into a job you have no prior experience in. You should also take advantage of the internship opportunities available to MBA candidates. They will greatly increase you chances of getting a good job after graduation.

Don't get a master's of accounting. Trust me, I've seen many people fall into that trap and fail.
Get an MBA in the accounting field. And while you're back in school, get student internships in the field.
Sam has a good idea. Go to any small business you know, or even a church your family goes to, and offer to help with the bookkeeping. Even if you don't get paid much, the experience will help.

I dont think its worth it, go for an MBA.
One thing you can do, if you are into accounting, is try to consult or do book keeping for small businesses. Also maybe a good time to talk to H&R Block as tax season is fast approaching, and you may be able to get some experience
