A show on now about food activist and a 21 or 25 year old handsome man is arrested by the police. Lisa, who falls in love with him, goes into the jail to see him. Her heart pounds and her eyes get giddy. She does everything in her power to get him to admire her. ( Lives in a tree so it won't be cut down ). Note:....She goes into the jail all by herself.....Now I want to know....What is wrong with this show?

I do like the show but it's so stupid to show an 8 year old going into a jail to see an adult. Of course it's a cartoon but what were the creators thinking?

Uh - it's a cartoon? And presents us with situations that could never happen? Episodes where Homer goes into space, Flanders becomes a werewolf, and aliens take over earth? Well, maybe the one about the aliens - could happen.

Um.......the fact that it isn't real. Lisa's been 8 years old for 17 years. By this logic she, at the time, would probably be old enough to be consentual. That and it's perfectly fine for a young kid to have a crush on an older man. She had a crush on her teacher, a lot of things in that show doesn't make sense. But if it was real, Lisa's an 18 year old trapped in an 8 year old's body. I'm sure that she knows what she's getting into.

Unfortunately, the recidivism rate for child molesters is far higher than that of other crimes. It's a ingrained, sick compulsion that these scum cannot control. I agree that a death sentence is too kind- why should they have the luxury of dying when their victims have to live every single day for the rest of their lives trying to deal with what was done to them? I have said this before, and I still believe that EXTREMELY hard time- in a tent city someplace like Death Valley, just enough food for sustenance, and NO radios, books, TV's, gyms, basketball courts, nothing. Maybe they will actually think about how their actions impacted their victim's lives. I know this probably sounds unduly harsh, but my daughter's best friend was sexually molested by her step-father from the time she was 8, until he got her pregnant when she was 13. Nothing is too bad for this animal.

Um, I think your looking too deep into it - nothing happens between her and the bloke in question and he doesn't do anything really to lure her (that I can remember). Plus, it's a show and I don't think it has anything to do with child molesting! Take it up with Matt Groening, he's an approachable guy!

It is simply Lisa's schoolgirl crush and admiration. He is not sexually interested in her at all, even seemingly brush her off at least one point in the episode. The episode in no way deals with pedophilia, and I assure you that its inclusion is limited to your inference.

That show is totally inappropriate. I have no clue how it gets its good ratings. It is disgusting, insulting, and just plain dumb. I personally believe that that show tries to make fun of everything, but like I said, I don't know why people love it so much.
ps. i like mad tv though. it's actually funny!
