Okay. I'm not large but my hips are and due to this, i have to wear up to size 11 jeans because nothing else will button comfortably. unfortunately (and luckily) my thighs and everything else are not size 11 so the pants are really baggy and i have a saggy butt (well i think so). I have tried jc pennies, american eagle, gap (but only one style) and a couple other stores. what style and what store should i go to? is it cheaper or easier to get my jeans tailored? thanks!!!

My daughter wears a size 11 and has big hips and normal legs and a normal waist. We buy her jeans at Old Navy. She likes the boot cut low rise and she looks good in them. She gets tops that go longer so her stomach doesn't show because with her big bottom out comes a big crack! She says, " crack kills!" She also shops at JC pennies and we buy her Arizona low rise boot cut. She has a big bust so it helps to buy shirts to bring that out and minimize the waist. Wear a sweetheart or square neckline. Wear blouses with a wrap around waist. Buy a few really eye catching necklaces. I really think you should think about stretch material in jeans too. That always works for a size smaller and to tuck in a few spots too without looking tight. Look for " stretch denim".

Ann Taylor Loft now carries a new cut called the Julie. Which is is made for Curvy figures. Their jeans are $54. I normally avoid any styles that are too straight or they gap in the back.

I am not sure how old you are, but I also have great luck with jean's from a store called Chico's. For whatever reason I love all of the denim. Most of their jeans all have a bit of stretch in them.

I feel your pain. I have a sz 5 waiste and size 10 hips. JCPenny's are the worst jeans i think i have ever bought. I buy the one that have some stretch and low rise not super low rise. I love Lucky Jeans cuz i can buy them to fit my body but are expensive. I do American Eagle limited blue addition, Paris blues, Levi low rise stretch, or Tilt jeans from Pacsun. But go to oprah.com and she has a place on there to tell you what type of jeans to wear with your figure

I have the same problem.... jeans are hard... I have had luck with Levi straighten leg jeans... what i mean but straighten leg jeans are when the width of the bottom of the jeans and the knee of the jeans are the same. You do not what tapered jeans or boot leg or flared... also try old navy ... but the best thing to do is to just go out with a friend, who is going to give you a honest opinion and just try on all types of jeans.... no stretch jeans ... they will just make your bottom look worse... good luck....

Gap carries many styles, maybe you should try the curvy jeans. I have a big butt too, and sometimes Tommy Hilfiger or Calvin Klein jeans fit well.

it depends on you top and acsesories and hair and make up but go for a boot leg, not a large flare but enough so it balances your waist with your shoulders and ankles, other wise youll look like a triangle
