Sure. Unfortunately prejudice is a fact of life. Whether you're gay, disabled, overweight, immigrant, whatever. It's a near certainty that someone will have a negative reaction to you and treat you poorly because of it. You can't make your life about their issues...you call people on it when you can. Otherwise you just get on with what you're doing and nevermind the rest.

i'm Egyptian and i have been in America for 3 years, i traveled half way around the world and the only country that still has problems with people's skin color is America, its a shame that its considered the best country in the world when some of the people that live in it are this stupid to have an issue with someone's skin color. in the end we are all human!

Of course.
Any black person in this world at some point in time, if they haven't already, will experience some form of prejudice and racism.
Black people even have a developed and learned propensity to practice prejudice and racism toward one another.
But the TRULY SAD PART about prejudice is that
most likely,
EVERYONE at some time or another will experience prejudice in some form.
The one thing that WE ALL DO that perpetuates prejudice is the DENIAL of that prejudice.
We must first BE HONEST and ADMIT that
DEEP INSIDE ALL OF US IS RACISM, PREJUDICE
AND BELIEF OF STEREOTYPES.
I'm trying to rid myself of it.
Won't you join me?

I am from a German Community (mostly white) and I went to a company picnic where there were many people not of my culture. I felt odd. I tried so hard to fit in, but I found no way of bridging the gap between myself and all the other people at the picnic.

Yeah. Working construction in East St. Louis. All the laborers were black. They kept telling me how all their problems were because they were black. How white people got it too easy. Its like a crutch they lean on. Never trying to better themselves. It easier to say I could have been this or that if I wasn't black. No such thing as African American. One or the other.

You're acting as if only mixed cultures experience racism. That's completely untrue. I live in a town where there are people who are white, black, hispanic, indian, oriental, etc. And there are a lot of racist people. I've been called names before, and I'm white. You might want to try thinking some time.

Yes I have and I am sick of it. I am sick of living in a racist world, where white people seem to GET everything and BENEFIT from everything, I can only hope that this time ends soon. This society was built on evil (slavery, rape, murder) and it is only a matter of time before it will be pulled down by evil.
