The other answers didn't do it, did they?

You have two issues with Internet Explorer's Address bar.
1) The "pull down list" when you click on the down arrow at the end of the bar. To clear this, right click on your START button, choose PROPERTIES. Select the Start Menu tab and select CUSTOMIZE. Then select the ADVANCED tab at the top of this window. Now click on the CLEAR LIST button near the bottom in the "recent documents" area.
Read the above steps a few times to be sure you get all the steps.
2) You probably also have "auto complete" turned on. To clear this list, open I.E., click on Tools, then Internet Options. Click on the CONTENT Tab, then click on the Auto Complete button. Click the CLEAR FORMS button. When your pointer cursor returns, click OK. Then click the General tab and click the CLEAR HISTORY button.

Following these steps should clear out any entries that show up in the address bar of Internet Exploder.
