dont listen to those morons. get the V10 besides the V10 is
3-400lb the old motor is 4-550lb you can get a re-mand for about 2K put on a six gear for 2K more that car will fly.

Almost anything is possible, but that doesn't make it smart. And restoring something means putting it back to new/original condition.
You have to consider the size and weight of the engine and the tranny. Will it fit? Can the front end hold it up.
And can you afford it. This won't be easy.
You would be better of going with one of the original motor/tranny combo's that the car was offered with from the factory. With these combo's you will find the parts easier, and won't have to pay for something to be custom built. If you want more power than this, there are lots of aftermarket parts to boost you up.

Well, you won't have a resto but you will have a REALLY cool pony, especially if you go with the diesel. Don't ever expect to regain your money if you sell it -- you WILL be a star at car shows, however.

If you are going for a restoration you would not put either of those in. You would go with the original engine.
