Soccer help!?

OKAY iM LiKE iNTERESTED iN PLAYiNG SOCCER && WATCHiNG iT WiTH FRiENDS BUT i DONT UNDER STAND THE DEFENSE/OFENSE POSiTiONS && STUFF.
iM LiKE BLANK!

the defense defends the the goal. they make sure the ball is cleared and sent up to the mid field people or foward. the mid field people have to run alot. they run up the field and back down the field to help the defense when the ball is back there. the foward gets the ball and try to take a shot at the goal. but the foward isnt the only people that can take shots anyone can. you should always pass the ball to your teammates and never try to play the game by urself cause ur just gonna lose the ball

Ok, just play it, see if you enjoy it, and try watching some games on TV. Take your time to see if you really like it and don't be too bothered with concepts, you'll know about that with time.

It's a jolly and easy old game; there's a field and the one who kicks/heads the ball inside the opponent's goal at least 1 more time than the opponent, wins. And that's it, basically.

soccer is a simple sport the offense mostly stays on the opponents side of the field to attack and comes back to defend the midfields do the same thing now the defense mostly stays on their own side of the field but still comes up to attack and score and as for the goalie the golie stays in their goalie box to defend but sometimes comes out to score last minute corner kicks, free kicks and sometimes penaltys and thats the basic stuff about offense and defense
