i think you could have a huge impact on your team at your body
as for conditioning: you should keep lifting weights and work on your quik burst speed

Well the first thing you need to do is hit the weight room you weigh 145 and 6 foot you are one skinny dude... there is not much room for you on a football team. inless you gain about 40 lbs or so. if there is a place i would say a kicker of some sort. or maybe a QB only if you can kick or throw the ball. so i would say hit the weights and try out for linebacker one of the best possitions on the team. good luck. ohh yeah if you go to a big high school you really need to hit the weights because you are pretty small dude and big schools have alot of people to choose from. just don't be stupid and use any illegal drugs to get you there. you will hate yourself in later years...

you know what....you should play whatever position makes you happy....it is 10th grade football....go for what YOU want....also, talk to you coaches and see what they think. Did they put you at TE or did you choose to be there? but the key to football is to have fun. As for training...you want to work on cardio and lift 3-4 times a week....focus on your short burst movements...this is a key variable in football at most if not all positions.

You sound like a good fit for a corner back or a safety to me. How is your tackling? If you have proper form, your size won't be much of an issue. I would work more on footwork than anything else. Try jumping rope. It will not only help with endurance, but with your footwork and coordination as well. When you are jumping do not use ankle weights. They will only mess up your knees. If you are lifting, use lighter weights and more reps.

linebacker... ya right, he would have some serious weight gain to do but i guess at 15 its possible. Just make the jump to WR and work the intermediate routes, on defense you can run some Defensive End or Strong Safety. Talk to your coach about plyometrics.. plie-O-met-tricks

If you don't feel like putting on weight for you own reasons, i would say go for CB, your tall enough and you don't weigh too much. Also, as a CB, you can easily switch to WR or any other position that the coach or you realize that your good at. If you intercept alot, the coach might see you good hands and turn you to a WR, or if he sees that you can knock the crap out of the guy, you might end up as a LB.

Corner back, free safety, strong safety are all good choices for you according to the description.
Tell your coaches that you want ot try all of these.
Increase your weight through weight training and run for your speed training and endurance.

Well, you are well suited for defensive end because of your height. But, I could also see you playing some sort of safety on defense.
If you play end, make sure you contain and go down field as deep as the ball before you attack the QB. This will keep you from being burned on a sweep.
I could also so you playing offense as a tight end. When I played HS ball a few of us got to iron man and I played defensive and tight end.
Tight end is awesome because you have nice height and you are usually used for short yardage plays so there is not alot of long distance runs unless you break one off.
To condition, just lift weights. Run laps for stamina. Do alot of tackling drills. Open field tackles are the hardest thing in the game. Your coach will tell you to wrap and turn. Do not try to strip the ball because this usually ends up with a broken tackle.
Make sure you train and lift coorectly and always drink lots of water or gatoraide to re-hydrate yourself. Good luck!
