Here in America, women pick their own husbands - so, if I had a daughter, she'd pick out her own husband (unless she was a lesbian - in that case, she'd pick her own wife)!!!

Well of course! I picked my own out and did a pretty good damn job of it so I'm sure she has standards of her own to go by-it's better than her picking out a wife!!!!! LOL!!!!!

Yes...unless he was a real jerk...then I'd just try to do my best to stop her from marrying him. I'd look out for my daughter, but I'd let her make her own decisions.

I hope so. I would not want someone to pick out my mate. I would want my daughter to be truly happy and if she is to be married she should be with someone who SHE loves.
