not much at all, you have 64 megs and in todays world of computers that is nothing. You sure won't be able to use most of the latest programs and games and software with it. They take up a lot of ram

http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/
and scan your system
it will tell you what kind of memory you have and how much you can add
