I was just visited Vietnam about more than a week ago. I had a great time. If you are going there I hope that you have a fun time too! Enjoy yourself!

Vietnam received 290,000 foreign tourists in November, raising the total foreign arrivals in Vietnam to 3.26 million in the 11 months of year 2006, representing a year-on-year increase of 2.5%. [Annualized: 3.56 million/year]
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the remarkable increase in the number of foreign visitors to Vietnam, especially those from APEC member economies, was attributed to the country's hosting of the 14th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in November with many cultural and artistic activities to promote Vietnam and its people.
The Republic of Korea topped the list with 378,300 tourists, an increase of 29%. It was followed by the US with 351,300 arrivals, 15.7%; Japan, 347,800 arrivals, 14.3%; Australia, 152,300 arrivals, 13.9%; and Thailand, 108,400 arrivals, 38.4%."

"Vietnam plans to serve 6 million foreign visitors to the country and an other 23 million local tourists, earning a revenue of US$4.5 billion [annually] by 2010. "
