The casting is so good, in both "The Stand" and "It" Hard to choose! His theatrical movies scare me too much to watch. I thought "Storm of the Century" was a little lame. "Needful Things" has a great opening sequence in the movie.

THE STAND! without a doubt. Its not quite a deep scary horror, but my! It makes for one awesome story - and the keynote actors really carry the story over well.
The Shining, is my next favorite Stephen King, book to movie project...,
and 3rd is "Misery" - which I call a docudrama based on my marriage to the ex-wife I refer to as Cujo. LOL

I like the stand but I LOVE Desperation. They just out the movie out last year. I have read that book more that twenty times.

Mine is the stand too. That has to be the longest movie ever but the book didn't seem that long to me.....kinda funny!
