i really don't know. personally, i am not one for extravagant extras like DVD's and a spartan helmet-especially if it costs 100 dollars just to buy. but thats just me...how about you?

It all depends on how much you're going to play the game. I heard that extra multiplayer maps would be included in the Legendary version. Although I can not verify this, I can tell you that based on the other two Halo games, I would buy it based on the fact I've played it more than any other games I have. So, I would judge your decision based on how much you play the game.

If you think its your favorite, I'd pay the money. At least that's what I would, and am going to do.

I already pre-ordered it, so I think it's worth it. The game is already 60 bucks, and for 40 bucks, more I get the Spartan helmet. For me, the Spartan helmet is like a collectible item. I just think it looks really cool, so I have to have it.

If Halo 3 is going to be as good as I think it is, it would be nice to have something to remember it by.

I am not a gamer nor a programmer but using my common sense and my knowledge of accounting, here is an answer to a part of your question: After you buy the software and play the game I can assure you its value will be less than now. Software are depreciated at a rate of 331/3% which means they have zero value after 3 years. So if you intend to buy it now, play the game and then expect that its value will have gone up then you might just as well try your luck at Wall Street my friend. These type of products devaluate on a daily basis at Amazon, what are you thinking...?

the spartan helmets kinda cool and all but it just sounds like a fancy wrapping for the game. plus you can't even wear the helmet since it's too small, lame :(

Yea i think its worth the money just because halo 2 was like the best game for the xbox and if Halo3 is as good as they say its going to be then yea i think its worth the money.
