You should wait until you get at least half your course....theres a lot going on behind the desk than just phone calls and receiving patients. All places are going to ask you for experience, its hard to find a job like that.

I worked as a medical receptionist part-time while I was in school. While you are doing your course, look around for doctors and clinics that are open after normal business hours--often times full-time staff don't like working these hours and doctors will hire students to fill in. You might even be able to organize working for two or three different practises simultaneously. Don't be surprised if you are asked to clean offices and exam rooms at the the end of the day.

submit your resume to leading jobsite like www.monster.com, www.careerbuilder.com. Also you should consult local placement consultant in your area. In the meantime, look out for an option to work online. Although it wont pay you like full time job but you can make extra cash in your spare time. I am a part time worker doing work online at home, so I would like to share a link where you can make $600-$1500 in a month working at home. The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)
