If I were you I would just pass through Mulege and enjoy the Oasis landscape from your car...drive about 30 more minutes south and then you will come to one of the most beautiful scenes....Bahia Concepcion. The sea of Cortez makes you feel like you are on an island somewhere very far away.. the water is so clear and in the summer I'm sure it's warm (I was there this past Christmas and swam)
You can snorkle, relax, enjoy the scenery and there are a few good resturaunts there too. I ate at a place called "ann's" that had really fresh seafood.
Mulege is a very small, poor town without much tourism. I had the worst food of my entire drive down the Baja Penninsula there. Bring your own toilet paper if you need to stop to use the restroom!
I guess it all depends on what you're looking for...

What do you want to do? I have driven through there 4 times traveling to and from Cabo San Lucas.
Eat, Drink, Relax, Beach, water sports, fish, hike, sight see, enjoy meeting new people. I am sure there is some night life in the bars, dancing, music,
Apart from that I am not sure. Try doing a search on Google and see what you find. Whatever happens enjoy it.
