The scene shows you walking through a park or field near your house when a guy in a gorilla suit walks by. For some reason you want to feel this 'gorilla's' fur so you reach out and touch it. The guy in the gorilla suit stops and looks where you've touched him and all of a sudden starts to chase you. You are to look TERRIFIED as you run, falling down, covered in dirt, with the gorilla not too far behind all the time.
Keep yelling at it,"WHY are you chasing me?" Then you run into your house and go hide under your bed, sweating and freaked out. Show scenes of the gorilla looking behind the couch, in closets, everywhere, THEN...the gorilla slowly mounts the stairs, looking around at the rooms while the scene switches back to you under the bed, breathing hard, clutching a pillow.
Then back to the gorilla checking through the rooms and finally reaches for your doorknob...he enters your room...he looks everywhere while you bury your face in the pillow.
OH NO! The gorilla gets down and looks under the bed and FINDS YOU!
You jump out from under the bed, only to have the gorilla blocking the door, and he begins to slowly move toward you...you're yelling WHY WHY WHY are you doing this?...the gorilla reaches out and cuffs you on the arm and yells YOU'RE IT!....and runs from the room leaving you standing there with a look of oblivious surprise on your face!

Sounds like fun and can be made into a 10 or 15 minute movie and it's actually FUNNY!
How's that?

here's one.

have it so a person see's someone doing something that looks suspicious. have that person move away and your main character follow them to see what it was that they were really doing. from there make it so that there's a little twist at the end, for example, the main characters family knew about his curiosity and asked a friend to distract them while they set up a party, or it turns out that all this illicit activity was really something benign.

alfred hitchcock made a movie about a guy who saw suspicious things happening from his window... simpsons did the exact same thing. why not do it yourself?

or make a "day in the life of..." mini movie from the point of view of something inanimate. those are usually short and can be really funny. check out atomfilms, they have a large quantity of movie shorts that might inspire you.
