Here once again, a person is using the word "gays", as though every person who identifies themselves as "gay" is exactly the same. Homosexuality is a SEXUAL ORIENTATION. Most medical professionals, including organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Psychological Association (APA), believe that sexual orientation involves a complex mixture of biology, psychology, and environmental factors. A person's genes and inborn hormonal factors may play a role as well. These medical professionals believe that — in most cases — sexual orientation, whatever its causes, is not simply chosen.

Not everyone agrees. Some believe that individuals can choose who they are attracted to — and that people who are gay have chosen to be attracted to people of the same gender.

There are as many sexual orientations as there are people. Some people are non-monogomous, some are monogomous, some are polyamarous, some are celebate. Monogamy is the custom or condition of having only one mate during a period of time. The word monogamy comes from the Greek word monos, which means one or alone, and the Greek word gamos, which means marriage or union. It literally means being married to one person. People currently apply the term monogamy to both married and unmarried couples. Polyamory, or "being poly", is the acceptance of the potential for multiple loving partners within relationships. This may include sexual partners. Polyamorous relationships are not "cheating", but mutual love and honesty in relations that are not monogamous. The basis of such relationships are love, stability, compatibility, peace and personal and relationship honesty.

yes i was in 8.5 year relationship and we were totally faithful,
how do i know this, cause we had trust and honesty towards our relationship. i even showed my late partner the girl that was hitting on me, but i loved my wifey, that much to resist any and all temptation. so yes there is monogomous relationships between gays, is has to be what you agree to tho. dont agree to a monogomous relationship if you cant back it up.
if you a player stay that way, if you want a solid honest monogomous relationship work for it, it has to be worked on every day.

Yes. There are more cheating straight people than there are gays. Gays sometimes have a stronger bond to the one they love because there aren't as many of us out there.

Yep...most of us after a certain age.

Like most men gay men are promiscuous in their teens and early 20's but most mature around that time.

Sadly some men, regardless of orientation, never grow up.

I have two friends that are lesbians. They have been together for 20+ years. They've stood by each other through a lot. Great people.

Yes, I have seen it. Just because you are gay doesn;t mean you cannot be monogomous.

Straights are the same way. date around, find someone you connect with, become exclusive
