Yes I believe it would be much better. Many people don't pay one bit of attention as to who they are voting for or what.Which is bad.Often I see people who vote all for one party without actually researching, just lazy and not helpful to this country in the least.I do understand that it is confusing though.
I'm not of age to vote yet, and I seem to know more about politics and what is going on then a majority of people voting.Which is scary in my opinion.

It's not possible to read all bills. Congressmen don't, how can the rest of us. We also don't vote on bills, we vote for the people who vote on bills. People should make every effort to be well informed, but in the end you vote for the person who best represents your values. Party labels do matter. It matters a great deal who gets to organize Congress as we are seeing now. While no party is likely to be right all the time, I think that it's possible for a party to be wrong almost all the time.

Unquestionably. The parties (Democrat and Republican) don't stand for anything anymore. People still cling to the belief that the Democrats are for the small guy and the Republicans are for the rich, or that the Republicans are for smaller government and lower taxes. Well, let me tell you the truth.
Both parties are controlled at the top by the same interests. Paramount among these interests is the Council on Foreign Relations. The CFR has been running things in this country since WW2. Look at the trend: more intrusive government into every aspect of our lives, higher taxes, more involvement in dun-declared wars, inflation of our currency, repudiation of moral standards, undermining our culture in the name of "multicultralism", abortion, promotion of homosexuality, outright criminal behavior by elected and appointed officials going unpunished, loss of our Constitutional Rights, educational mediocrity, attack on religion, particularly Christianity, and the list goes on. And these things occur wether Democrats or Republicans are in control.
Yes, I think we need to start electing independents.

Yes, no one looks out for the little guy. Neither party.
Republicans, while having the correct ideals, neglected them badly over the last 6 years.
Give me an independent I can vote for!

It's not a matter of more independents, but people that are willing to avoid voting a straight partisan ticket, but rather, for the best candidate that represents your interests.

Sure, but a viable third party has yet to capture the Nations attention, let alone enough to capture the Nations highest office.

I think if you don't do your research on the issues of a certain election, then you shouldn't vote. Everyone should have their own opinion on any matter, or person, that they are voting on.

i think this is why you have so many splinter groups in both parties because they dont always agree with what is going on in there party.as for independents they must have some leanings towards one party or another?

Yes, but it won't happen. The so-called US media won't allow it.
The Independent Party might want some changes that might hurt CNN = Exxon = Bush team
