The civil rights movement.
What a lot of people don't realize is that a lot of africans can today come to the US because african americans fought for their rights. Martin Luther King said, "Let freedom ring from the rolling hills of Georgia".......but in reality, freedom rang all the way to Kilimanjaro. Many africans today live and work in the USA and have great opportunities to improve their lives because people like Dr. King and Rosa Parks chose to take a stand. Their fight for justice verberated all over the world. How cool is that?

When all of the black people did a giant march and held up signs walking up and down the "white people's" streets as if to proclaim their supremacy. If white people did that, they'd get scalped and hung... maybe shot twice as well. So... yeah, it made me feel very happy for their month of marching.
