Originally, we started living in the world (almost all the positive traits), there's love, happiness and the like...
As we grow older, many challenges comes into place: situations we must reach to avoid the failure and to reach the success...
... but at the end of it, there's Death that NO ONE can't avoid (almost all the negative traits), there's loneliness, grief, and the like.
is this the principle of life, we live (to felt the meaning of life) and then we die (sorrow comes into place)?
im not saying this, just want to know your opinion regarding this topic...
note: NO, RELIGION preference, please!

the only difference between youth and old age is the awareness of situations going on outside and inside of you much better (as far as I can guess). and the knowledge of all these unfortunate things happening to people around or in you eventually weighs down on most people. but why do you associate such grief and negativity to death? it's the only thing promised to you in life, and it's something you never have to undergo while you're alive!
the world's not unfair; it's natural.

I'm not sure how anyone can say that life is fair. Death is the only leveller. It is a fact that bad things happen to good people and innocent children get abused while murderers, rapists and other sick people run free. You say we come into the world where "there's love, happiness and the like", unfortunately for many children this is not the reality. We do all face challenges but for some these challenges are worse than for others. I have had a really blessed life with love and happiness that many people only dream of, while other friends have been abused from the time they were born (physically, emotionally, sexually) and have faced many more struggles throughout their life than I can ever understand. No, the world is definitely not fair.

Life is unfair. Good thing too. Can it be fair for everyone?
Death is not unfair. Were death not a part of Life, at some point one would stop aging. However the need for sustenace would still exist. Thus, at some point people would no longer exist. Perhaps this point would have been reached before 2007.
The baby you begin as is oblivious to the world. The grandma that
holds the baby is well aware of the world. And yet it is possible for her to be very sad for that happy baby, and to be subjectively happy that someday she will die.
The major part of a good life, is accepting one's own death.
However, a Fear of Death translates that a person is actually feeling that they have not lived up to their own potential.
Babies are born and babies die. 1 year olds and 95 year olds die. People go to bed loved and happy and die in their sleep. People are wracked with incurable DZ and are happy. Or not.
Fair or unfair is answered in the relationship with self.

Everything is fare.Only one fourth of the souls come to the material world. The less intelligent ones (that's us). Everything is based on Karma and reincarnation. Not religion but science. We are not these bodies,ie;race, color, nationality, religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul. We wanted to Lord over material nature so the Supreme Person also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc., Said knock yourself out. So we did, life after life. What ever ones consciousness is at the time of death we are sure to attain in our next life. We get the karma (reaction to our actions) we deserve. That is why one baby is born healthy and in a rich family and another sick and in a poor family or so many varieties of situations. It is not an iny mini miny moe thing. It is science of the soul. Spiritual evolution not Darwin's theory that is of the body which has been proved wrong by the scientists. (Read Forbidden Archiology By Michael A. Cremo) Anyone who thinks they are this body are still in animal consciousness. Animals eat, sleep mate and defend, as do humans but we have the intelligence to question our existence and relationship with the Absolute Truth. Read Bhagavad Git as it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada for the science of the soul and purpose of human life reincarnation karma etc.

No. The world is not fair, or unfair, cruel, kind or compassionate. It is indifferent.
As I grow older at least for now I see death as the natural progression, and the single fact that gives life its value. I can think of nothing more worthless than a life without an end, or anything more valuable than the precious moments of this finite life we have.

Life is a journey like no other. There's the spring time, summer, fall and winter. Like the seasons, it's nature's way and the way it will always be. Ones own happiness is up to the person and his/her choices. You forget with age comes wisdom and that's not something that can be learned in any other way but through the experiences of living. It's not all doom and gloom.

Can't avoid it, that's how ALL life goes. But humans are special in that we have the potential for any kind of existence because we choose our behavior. We can choose from having a euphorically good all the way to a tragically bad experience. Realize that choice.

i guess you would have to say it is unfair. we are never here long enough to do the things we want to do or get our point across like we want to. not even to say all the things that need to be said.i guess its kind of like a mystery. you never know what the ending will be.
