They let the grizzlies score 46 points in the third quarter alone, that's what happened. That's why they lost not because Phil benched Kobe for the 4th quarter. Kobe fanatics are so one sided

I guess the rest of the Lakers think they can waltz through Grizzlies because they have NBA-worst record and also because they have won against the Mavs.

Phil Jackson's benching was a wake-up call to the players especially the starters that they must bring their A-Game each and every night. Just look at the starters stat sheet aside from Kobe.

Unfortunately, the Lakers took the Grizzlies lightly. They tend to play to the level of the opposing team. They play harder against good/great teams and slack off when they think it's an "easy" win. It only shows the team's immaturity. Hopefully, they will play better defense tomorrow against Houston and win. Go Lakers!

Here is what happened first Kobe ran Shaq out of town then he cheated on his wife then he took 204 shots in one game then they lost!!! They will never go anywhere till Kobe lets them get another good player with the team. They need to get KG but Kobe will not let that happen. It's all about him Me Me Me is all he knows!!!!

HELLO, Am I the only one who noticed Jackson benched Kobe the whole 4th quarter. I feel like I'm in the Twighlight Zone!
